You may find the answer to your questions here. If not, please click the "Contact Us" tab on the top right hand corner on our website and email your question. We will answer it as soon as we can.

Question: Why don't my login details work?
Answer: We changed our shopping cart software in July, 2011 to make transactions with us faster, and login details prior to then may not work. If this is the case, please re-register. You can still buy from our website without registering. Please enter your details & shipping address, etc at checkout.

Question: I'm having trouble using your website.
Answer: Please just add the products that you want to the shopping cart without logging in. When finished, go to “Checkout” and complete your shipping address details, enter a User Name & Password of your choice, enter your name and click on “Apply”. All areas with an asterisk must be completed. Then tick the “I accept the "Terms & Conditions" and "Privacy statement" box after reading them. Select the freight option & payment option required and click “Submit order".
If you have any trouble after that, please email or contact us with your order.

Question: Why doesn't the shipping cost show at checkout?
Answer: Please check your delivery address details and postcode. Our freight calculator is linked to Australia Post and only correct existing postcodes can be used. If your delivery address is incorrect or if you enter a postcode that does not exist, freight charges will not be shown and freight options will not be available. Only "Collect from Warehouse" will be available. If freight costs are still not available even though you delivery address and postcode is correct, please contact us. Our freight cost calculator defaults to Sydney, NSW, 2000 postcode until you enter your delivery address and postcode.

Question: How long will it take to receive my order?
Answer: We normally despatch orders within 3 to 5 days (usually much quicker) of receiving payment confirmation provided that we have stock available. The actual delivery time to receive your order will depend on your location and the type of shipping requested when you ordered. Australia Post & couriers quote anything from 1 to 2 business days delivery to Sydney or Melbourne to 7 to 10 business days delivery to WA and remote Queensland or other remote addresses from when we ship the order. In most cases, the delivery will require a signature, so it may be a good idea to use your work address instead of home address. We recommend that orders to be delivered to WA, NT and remote parts of the country be made only in the cooler months. We prefer not deliver to these areas in the hot, humid months as the goods may be spoilt by the time the order reaches you. If you live in these areas and still want us to deliver during the hot months, we can offer no guarantee that the goods will not be damaged in transit.

Question: What happens if you don't have a product in stock?
Answer: We normally contact the buyer by email if the product will be out of stock for more than 5 days.

Question: Can Goody Goody Gum Drops guarantee delivery by a certain date?
Answer: Once we give your parcel to a courier or Australia Post the delivery is totally out of our control. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that the parcel will be delivered to meet a close deadline. we can guarantee a despatch date but not a delivery date.

Question: What is the expiry date of the products?
Answer: Most of our products have "Best By" dates of 7 to 12 months however, like all food products, it is best to order just before you need the lollies to ensure the best freshness. We recommend ordering about 3 to 4 weeks before you need the goods, just in case we are out of stock, as this will normally give us enough time to yet the goods in for you.

Question: How will you send my order?
Answer: We despatch orders by Australia Post or by Courier depending on the delivery location or urgency. (Most parcels are sent by courier even though the Invoice/Receipt may say Australia Post) Posted orders are usually sent by Registered Mail. In most cases, the delivery will require a signature, so it may be a good idea to use your work address instead of home address. Please email us immediately after ordering if you want to change the delivery address.

Question: What if I'm not at home when my order arrives?
Answer: The postie or courier will leave a card so that you can arrange another delivery or collect the parcel from the local Post Office if it is sent by Australia Post.

Question: How can I contact Goody Goody Gum Drops?
Answer: As we are an online business the quickest way to get an answer is to click the "Contact Us" tab on the top right hand corner on our website. You can also contact us by telephone during business hours (8:00 AM to 3:15 PM Australian Eastern Time) and leave a message. As we are an online business, email & "Contact Us" enquiries receive preference over telephone calls and are answered as quickly as possible.

Question: Where is Goody Goody Gum Drops located and do you have a showroom?
Answer: We are located at 62 Hawkins Street, Howlong, NSW, 2643 on the NSW/Victorain border near Albury/Wodonga. We are close to the Hume Highway which is the road between Melbourne & Sydney so we can offer quick deliveries to both of these cities. We are an online business and, to keep our prices as low as possible, we do not have a showroom. All of our products are listed on our website.

Question: Does Goody Goody Gum Drops deliver to my area?
Answer: Yes, We deliver to all cities & towns in all states & territories in Australia.

Question: What are the freight costs?
Answer: Delivery costs are calculated automatically by our software once you enter your delivery postcode. (Prior to knowing your postcode the software defaults to postcode 2000) The shipping calculation takes into account the weight of your order, the cost of the packaging materials required, the distance your parcel needs to travel and the speed at which you would like your parcel delivered. The freight costs quoted for courier or postal deliveries are set by Australia Post and calculated at Australia Post's Registered Parcel rate and include packaging materials including the box, bubble wrap, etc.

Question: I haven't been charged for freight & my invoice says "Order over 20Kg - Postage charged separately" what does this mean?
Answer: Our Shopping Cart software is linked to Australia Post for accurate shipping costs however, if your order is 20Kg gross weight or over (Australia Post's maximum single parcel weight) the software may not calculate more than one parcel and "Orders over 20Kg" will be shown. We will invoice the postage charges separately. This can be paid by credit card or bank deposit. Our new software usually calculates the total freight costs without using this option.

Question: How can I pay for my order?
Answer: We accept payment by MasterCard or Visa credit cards through our Bank's Secure credit card gateway, PayPal or direct bank deposit. We cannot accept payments by AMEX or Diner's Club credit cards.

Question: Does Goody Goody Gum Drops accept telephone orders?
Answer: Goody Goody Gumdrops Pty Ltd is an Online Lolly Shop. We keep our prices low by using Online Shopping Cart Software to take your order and payment securely. Telephone orders can be made under certain circumstances but any discounts shown on our website are applicable for online orders only and these discounts will not be applicable to any orders not completed online.

Question: I don't have a PayPal account. How can I pay with my credit card?
Answer: Select "Secure Credit Card payment" at checkout and you will be transferred to our Bank's Secure payment gateway or, if you prefer to pay through Paypal, simply click on "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account - Continue" on the left hand side of the PayPal Secure payment gateway page, then enter your delivery details & your credit card details. PayPal is one of the world's most secure payment gateways. Your credit card details are never seen by us when you pay by Secure Credit Card or PayPal. This is for even more security. PayPal payments made through your bank account are not instant payments and the payments usually take up to five days to clear. If you order by mobile phone or tablet, usiing our Mobile Phone Shopping Cart application we recommend using Paypal as your payment method.

Question: Can I order using my Mobile Phone?
Answer: To ensure that www.goodygoodygumdrops.com.au "Your Online Lolly Shop" is available to you when & where you want it, we now have a mobile phone optimised website as well as our normal online shopping cart website and our widely used Facebook shopping cart page. (Many service providers do not charge for Facebook browsing.) This means that you will be able to surf, search and order our products easily on your iPhone, iPad, Android Mobile Phone or Pad. Clean, minimal view cart pages with smaller images, fast load times using a lot less bandwidth. When you access our website on your mobile phone or tablet you will automatically get our optimised mobile website which uses much less bandwidth. When you access www.goodygoodygumdrops.com.au on your computer you will get our regular website shopping cart. This new feature is available now. PayPal or credit card are our recommended mobile payment options.

Question: Does Goody Goody Gum Drops offer special prices to Confectionery re-sellers?
Answer: We can supply wholesale prices on most of our products to registered confectionery re-sellers who will be buying from us regularly. We do not offer wholesale prices for a one off purchase. Our reseller price discounts are based on the 1Kg Pack prices listed at our website. (Please order only 1 Kg packs as the wholesale discount is not applicable to bulk packs) We can offer you a discount on most products listed there. (There are a few exceptions such as “Jelly Belly” products, Custom Made products, Gourmet Rock, products already on special, some promotional products, etc.) All of our prices include GST but do not include freight costs. Resellers are required to register and provide their business details and ABN prior to ordering. There is a Re-Seller's minimum order value of $250.00 + freight to qualify for this discount. If your order is less than the minimum wholesale order you are welcome to buy from us at our normal prices.

 

We recommend that you order Chocolate products or Boiled Lollies only in the cooler months. All boiled lollies can be effected by humidity and may stick together during the warmer months particularly if in jars.
