Terms & Conditions

Whilst we try to despatch orders as quickly as we can, (usually next day if we have stock) please allow up to 3 to 5 business days after paying for your order for us to process and despatch your goods provided that we have stock. In most cases, the delivery will require a signature, so it may be a good idea to use your work address instead of home address.

Orders are professionally packaged to ensure that your parcel arrives safely and sent by Courier or Australia Post Registered Mail. (Express Post at additional cost, on request) All parcels sent require a signature, assuring that the parcel arrives at its destination. Because of this, it is best to nominate a delivery address where there will be someone available during the day to sign for and accept the delivery. Most orders for the eastern capital cities & coastal regional centres are delivered by courier. If you are not there to sign for the delivery, the courier or Australia Post will leave a card and you can contact the courier to arrange another delivery, or collect the parcel from the local Post Office if it was posted. Your order will be delivered by Australia Post or by our couriers Fastway. (Invoices & Receipts may say Australia Post but most orders will be despatched by courier) Orders delivered by Australia Post are usually sent by Registered Mail or Express Post. Most orders being delivered to the eastern capital cities are delivered by courier. Both Australia Post & Fastway Couriers will leave a card if nobody is in attendance when the delivery is made. Australia post parcels can be collected from the local Post Office & Fastway Couriers will arrange another time that the parcel can be re-delivered. If nobody will be in attendance when your order is to be delivered it would be best to have the order delivered to your workplace or somewhere where there will be somebody to sign for the delivery. Simple enter these details in the Shipping Address section of our order form. Contact details for Fastway Couriers local depots are listed on our "Postage & Shipping" page should you wish to contact them. Couriers can not deliver to PO Boxes. Courier deliveries to WA and some remote areas can take 7 to 10 business days after we have shipped the order. We recommend that orders to be delivered to WA, NT and remote parts of the country be made only in the cooler months. We prefer not deliver to these areas in the hot, humid months as the goods may be spoilt by the time the order reaches you. If you live in these areas and still want us to deliver during the hot months, we can offer no guarantee that the goods will not be damaged in transit.

NEW AUSTRALIA WIDE BUDGET SHIPPING COSTS: We now have new flat rate shipping charges of $10.00 (for orders up to 2 Kg) & $15.00 (for orders over 2 Kg up to 12Kg) anywhere in Australia as well as our normal freight rates. We do not recommend selecting Budget freight for large quantities of Lollipops as the Lollipops may be damaged during transit. Please select regular Post for orders containing Lollipops.

Disclaimer: We guarantee that your order will be well packed and will leave our premises in excellent condition. However, after we hand your parcel to Australia Post or a courier service we can not and do not accept any liability for orders delayed, lost or damaged whilst in their care. The onus is on Australia Post or the transport company for any loss or damaged caused. Should such loss or damage occur please contact Australia Post Customer Service section on 13 13 18 (13 11 18 for business users) or the relevant transport company or collect a Customer Service Complaint form from your local Australia Post Office. Australia Post Registered Post has some added protection and some insurance cover if the parcel is lost. Any applicable refunds or replacements for orders delayed, lost or damaged during transit will be made after the investigation by Australia Post or the courier company has been finalised. We cannot, under any circumstances issue refunds or replacements for delayed, lost or damaged orders until the investigation has concluded. Please Note: Express Post is NOT a next day delivery service from our location.

While we will try to meet customer's deadlines we do not guarantee a definite delivery date unless guaranteed in a written contract. Please note that once we hand your order to a third party like a Courier or Australia Post, we have no control over it an can not & will not accept responsibility for any delays in shipping or losses. Registered Post & Courier deliveries are insured.

Goody Goody Gumdrops Pty Ltd abides by all Australian Consumer Laws. All photographs and illustrations of products on this website are indicative of the product. Colours, shapes, etc for all products may change when new batches are made. We can not be held liable for any change in colour, shape, form, etc. If this is important to you, please confirm with us prior to purchasing. Our products are JUST Lollies and NOT works of art. If you are extremely fussy, it may be better if you buy elsewhere. Confectionery colouring can vary and colours may differ between batches. Colours such as Black may have a slight brown appearance when viewed under some lighting conditions. If you intend using our products for promotional purposes, or if appearance is important, such as a wedding, please order a small amount first to make sure they are what you want for your promotion or special occasion. Please keep in mind that the colours, shapes, flavour, etc. of confectionery could change when a new batch of the product is made. We do not accept any liability if this change occurs. Products are sold by weight and not by quantity. If the number of pieces per Kg is shown this figure is approximate only and can vary between batches. Quantities may vary considerably with natural products such as Almonds, Peanuts, Strawberries, etc. We will not accept the return of any goods if you have not ordered samples of the product concerned or without our authorisation unless the product is faulty. If a return is authorised, any credit or refund that may be given will not include any postage charges paid. We have paid the original freight costs to Australia Post or our courier and that cost is not refundable. Postage must be paid by you the customer for any items returned to us. This is normal procedure for online or mail order product returns in Australia. We will not accept COD Postage costs under any circumstances. We DO NOT accept returns if you change your mind or don't like the taste or colour, etc.

As an Online Lolly Shop we encourage customers to order Online and make payment through our Bank's secure credit card payment gateway of through the PayPal secure gateway. Any orders made by email or telephone may be misinterpered as many of our products have similar sounding names. We accept no responsibility if this happens with orders other than Online orders. Online orders give a description and an image in most cases of the product so that you can make sure that you order the correct product. Any discounts or special offers that we may make from time to time are only applicable to Online orders.

CALCULATING POSTAGE COSTS

Delivery costs are calculated automatically by our software once you enter your delivery postcode. (Prior to knowing your postcode, the software defaults to postcode 2000 and the postage cost is adjusted for delivery to your postcode once your delivery postcode is entered.) The shipping calculation takes into account the weight of your order, the cost of the packaging materials required, the distance your parcel needs to travel and the speed at which you would like your parcel delivered. The figures & delivery times stated are set by Australia Post. Postage costs charged by Goody Goody Gum Drops are at the Australia Post Registered Parcel rate.Please allow up to 5 business days after paying for your order for us to process and despatch your goods.

Our Shopping Cart software is linked to Australia Post for accurate shipping costs.

Many computer monitors are not correctly calibrated (particularly LCD Monitors & Laptops) and colours may appear different to the actual products. Colours may also change slightly with each batch of confectionery made. If colour or quality is important to you we suggest that you purchase a small quantity of the product to see the real colour and quality of the product before buying in bulk. Checkout their category sections for details. We can not exchange products because the colour is different than the image on your computer monitor. Please bear in mind that these are just lollies, and the colour and quality can very between batches. If you need our products for a special promotional purpose, please purchase a small amount first to see the actual product before buying in bulk.

Postage costs can be calculated at http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_parcel.asp Lodgement Postcode is 2643. (Please add $3.50 for postage registration)  Enter your shipping address Postcode and the weight. (remembering that Australia Post MAXIMUM WEIGHT is 20Kg) Please allow extra weight for packaging and the fact that our confectionery is always overweight. (Our 1Kg packs contains over 1Kg of confectionery)

You could also split your order into totals under 20Kg and use our Checkout Postage Calculator if you prefer.

If you order more than 1 Kg of a product we usually package it in bulk packs. (e.g. If you order 3 Kg we normally supply 1 x 3 Kg Bag) If you want your order packed in 1 Kg bags, please specify this by using the "Contact Us" message service or by sending an email to sales@goodygoodygumdrops.com.au immediately after ordering.

All of our Chocolate & Confectionery products are stored in cool dry conditions and leave our premises in excellent condition. After we hand your order to Australia Post or any other carrier or transport agency the onus for damage or deterioration of any of our products lies with the delivery service. Please take care when ordering chocolate & boiled lolly products during the hot humid weather months as they may deteriorate because of the conditions whilst in transit with Australia Post or other carriers. Depending on your location, your order may experience very hot & humid conditions for a long length of time in the back of an truck during transit. We do not accept responsibility for any deterioration whilst in the care of Australia Post or other carriers. We recommend that you order Chocolate products or Boiled Lollies only in the cooler months. All boiled lollies can be effected by humidity and may stick together during the warmer months particularly if in jars.

All goods leave our premises in good condition. We cannot recognise claims for damage due to atmospheric, climatic or other conditions beyond our control. If chocolate products are exposed to heat or cold they may lose their surface gloss and acquire what is known as 'bloom'. Bloom is a film of crystallised sugar/cocoa butter which does not impair the flavour or eating quality. The most favourable storage temperature for chocolate products is between 18ºC – 22ºC and not in direct sunlight. We do not recommend buying chocolate products during the hot weather months,

Payment can be made by credit card, through our bank's secure payment gateway, direct bank deposit to our Bendigo Bank account or money order. We accept MasterCard & Visa credit cards. We also accept credit card payments through the PayPal secure system. When you select the payment method as credit card you are taken to the PayPal secure website. If you do not have a PayPal account Click on "Continue" on the bottom, left hand side of the page "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account". Click on "Continue" and then enter your details. If you are not a verified PayPal member and use your bank account for a PayPal payment you are paying by PayPal eCheque which is not an instant payment. It will take approximately 5 days for your payment to clear. Your order will be processed after the eCheque has cleared. Payment can also be made by credit card through our integrated Bendigo Bank Secure Gateway. Please let us know if you have any trouble using our website.

During hot & high humidity weather, our products are kept under strict temperature control. We normally despatch orders when the weather cools a little unless instructed to send urgently. We do NOT recommend buying chocolates or Boiled Lollies in the hot weather.
