To minimise the risk of spreading or contracting Coronavirus, signatures may not be obtained for courier parcel delivery. This means the parcel will be left in a safe place at the delivery address, and a photo will be taken of the item at the door. If the courier cannot deliver the package to a safe place, they will leave a calling card with further instructions.
Please note, there is no limited liability insurance cover provided under the revised process, except in the case of damage.

Goody Goody Gum Drops usually offers several freight options.
- Normal freight through Fastway Couriers, TNT Transport, Sendle or Australia Post depending on your delivery location.

- Pick up from our Howlong warehouse by appointment. (Howlong is 30 Km from Albury/Wodonga on the NSW/Victorian border)

All freight costs are calculated by weight, while we can offer a great freight rate to most locations the reality is that most orders of lollies are far heavier than almost anything else ordered online resulting in a higher freight cost.
Please select the type of freight that you want at checkout. All freight costs are shown in our Shopping Cart. You can calculate the various freight costs by entering your delivery address postcode in our freight calculator when you view your cart. Courier delivery is not available for all areas. If you select Courier delivery and it will be quicker to deliver with Australia Post we will post the order and vice versa.
Most parcels will require a signature on delivery. If there will be nobody in attendance to sign for the delivery it may be quicker to have the order delivered to your workplace or a friend's place where there will be someone home.
With Courier delivery, your parcel is insured (see below) and must be signed for on delivery. If nobody is there to sign the courier will leave a card and you can contact them for re-delivery. Please note: If you give your authority for the courier to leave the parcel it will no longer be insured. Couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes.
With postal deliveries, if nobody is there at the time of delivery the parcel will be taken to the local Post Office and a card left to enable you to collect it. Australia Post deliveries are not insured unless you ask for the goods to be sent by Insured Post. This is at an additional cost. Please ask us at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately after you have ordered if you want the parcel insured.
Both Australia Post & Courier deliveries will have a Tracking number. Please contact us if you haven't received your parcel within 5 days from despatch. (Longer in WA or remote areas) You will receive an automatic email sent to the address given when you ordered after your order has been completed and despatched.
Please note that we are outside Australia Post "Next Day Delivery" area for Express Post and delivery normally takes two days from despatch of your order. All delivery time estimations are from the time of despatch of your order. We try to despatch orders within 5 days of receiving payment. (Usually much sooner than that)
Insurance is already included in the regular shipping price for Fastway Couriers, which will cover any items, in the unlikely event that they damaged or broken during transit. Do not sign with the courier until you have checked all goods are not damaged. If there are any items damaged in transit, refuse delivery and ask to courier to return the parcel to us and we will replace any damaged or broken items after claiming with the courier's insurance company. If you sign and accept delivery, the insurance from Fastway Couriers is void, the goods become your responsibility, and we will not be liable for replacing any damaged or broken items. Please note that if you give an authority to leave the parcel if there is no body available to accept delivery, there is no insurance coverage.
If your order is being sent by Australia Post by your choice or if our courier doesn't deliver personally to your area, it will not automatically be covered by insurance. If you wish to purchase the optional Australia Post insurance, please contact us, and we can arrange the Australia Post insurance for you up to the value amount of your goods ordered. If you do not purchase the insurance (extra charge on top of the normal shipping price), we are unable to make a claim to Australia Post for any damaged or broken items, and Goody Goody Gumdrops Pty Ltd will not be liable for replacing any damaged or broken items.
Please remember that once we hand your parcel to Australia Post or a courier its delivery is totally out of our control and we can never guarantee delivery by a certain date but we will try our best if you let us know your required delivery date. Orders for delivery to WA, NT, central Queensland & remote areas are normally sent by courier. Our courier quotes 7 to 10 business days delivery to these locations after despatch. Most other areas 1 to 7 days depending on location. Express Post is available at an additional cost if your order is urgent.

For areas where Fastway Couriers do not have a depot we normally send your order by Australia Post. Please let us know if your order is urgent.
As Australia Post has again increased parcel post prices and reduced their service we are now sending most parcels by courier when we can. This is usually a much cheaper price and a far quicker option than Australia Post. Deliveries to Melbourne & Sydney are usually delivered the day after despatch by courier while Australia Post now takes 4 days. Delivery times by Australia Post to all other locations have also increased dramatically with them now most parcels to Canberra for sorting before being re-despatched to their appropriate delivery locations. Previously parcels for Brisbane were sorted in Brisbane - Now they are sorted in Canberra. Parcels for Perth were sorted in Perth - Now sorted in Canberra. Parcels for Hobart now go to Canberra for sorting. How does this make any sense? All it does is delays delivery.
Express Post is available at additional cost if your order is urgent. Express Post orders must be received by noon (AEDT) for same day shipping. (provided that we have the stock available) Regular Parcel Post is also available.
Express Post is available all over Australia for an additional cost if your order is urgent.
